What Our Clients Have To Say
Michael O'Boyle, Grade 1 Conservation Architect, Bluett & O'Donoghue
“I had the great pleasure of working with Alan Moroney on the conservation of the former Model School, Anglesea Street, Cork (now Cork Criminal Courthouse) and on a number of protected structures within the Limerick Criminal Courthouse site. Alan carried out regular inspections of the conservation work to these high-profile public buildings so that the quality of the work could be monitored and recorded between my own scheduled site visits. He has a huge wealth of knowledge and experience in the conservation of historic buildings. Alan is very thorough in his work. He made a significant contribution to the successful delivery of these large and complex projects.”
Mark Gallagher, Grade 3 Conservation Architect, MRIAI
“I worked with Moroney Conservation on the refurbishment and extension to a Georgian House, a Protected Structure. Their professionalism, knowledge, experience and attention to detail made the on-site work and efficient and productive process. The works were completed to the clients and my full satisfaction and in a safe and timely manner. I would highly recommend Moroney Conservation for conservation works.”
Fanahan Colbert MCIOB senior estimator
As a Senior Estimator with a top tier contractor, I do come across, from time to time, very specialised works, in pricing documents. These can involve repairs, dismantling and rebuilding or constructing new with suitable materials, to blend in with existing structures.
There are few companies that can quote for such special works and one of these is Moroney Conservation. Alan Moroney has vast experience in dealing with conservation works and liaising with conservation architects.
Alan’s approach is, one of dealing with the works in a logical and pragmatic way. His advice is vital when planning the conservation works at tender stage, as this has a positive effect on the costs being submitted.
Moroney Conservation has gone on to carry out various conservation works for our company and Alan has also operated as our specialist advisor on projects, giving training to trades dealing with conservation on site.
